Consent Letter and NOC Drafting

A no objection certificate is refused for its wording far more often than for its substance. We write it in the form the receiving authority will accept.

Back to Services

A no objection certificate is a short document with a high failure rate. A licensing authority, a bank, a landlord, a school or an immigration counter asks for written consent from someone else, and the letter comes back rejected because it was addressed to the wrong party, signed by someone without authority, missing a licence number, or written in English where Arabic was required. The content is rarely the problem. The form is. We write the letter to the requirement of the party who has to accept it, on the right letterhead, from the right signatory, with the identifiers that party matches against, and in Arabic where Arabic is what will be read.

Abstract geometric line drawing: a single letter sheet with an open gate motif beneath it, the gate opening marked in teal, gold hairlines on dark navy.

Key Features

  • Written to the receiving party requirement rather than to a generic template, because the authority, the bank and the landlord each accept a different form of the same letter
  • Addressed and identified correctly, with the trade licence number, the establishment card number or the Emirates ID the receiving party will match the letter against
  • Signed by a person with authority to sign it, checked against the memorandum of association or the establishment card, which is the most common reason a letter is refused
  • Prepared in Arabic, or bilingually, where the receiving authority reads Arabic, and taken to notarisation where the letter must be notarised to have effect
  • You supply who is asking, what they are asking for, and the licence or identity documents of the party giving consent, which is the whole of the instruction

Benefits for Your Business

  • A letter accepted the first time, rather than returned for a detail nobody named up front.
  • Signed by someone whose authority the receiving party can actually verify.
  • Arabic where Arabic is required, prepared before the appointment and not on the day.
  • Notarisation handled in the same engagement where the letter needs it.
