A UAE company does not stop generating government paperwork once the licence issues. Licences renew, establishment cards expire, visas run out, labour contracts are filed and amended, and every one of those sits in a different portal with a different login and a different queue. A public relations officer, which is what PRO stands for and what the market still calls it, is the person who handles that counter work. Most founders do it themselves for a year, lose days to it, and miss a renewal date that costs more than the service would have. We run the file on a calendar instead, with the renewal dates set before they are due rather than after.
