Documents you need, and the Ejari rule
- Your current trade license
- A valid Ejari tenancy registration. DET will not renew a mainland license without one, so renew the lease first
- Passport copies of the shareholders
- Any activity approvals that must still be in date
- No unpaid fines on the license
How to renew a trade license in Dubai online
- Renew the Ejari if it expires before or with the license.
- Log in to the Invest in Dubai portal (DET) with UAE PASS.
- Choose "Renew trade licence" and check the name, address, partners and activities.
- Pay the fees.
- Receive the renewed license electronically by email.
